COVID-19, COLDS & FLU
Sharing is caring, except for contagious illnesses! When colds, flu, Covid-19, RSV and other illnesses display symptoms ranging from runny noses with sore throats, body aches and coughs, we can pay attention to these warning indicators that we still may be contagious. Additionally, a sore throat signals inflammation, and singing with inflammation isn't optimal for your vocal folds.
Add to all that, voice lessons are taught facing each other in close proximity, with open mouths, increasing the risk of transmitting contagious illnesses.
Please stay home and rest, or if you feel well enough, consider switching to an online lesson for that week. Find more info on how determine if you are contagious at WikiHow: https://bit.ly/2F3OL5V
